Ilori had talent but has never fitted in anywhere and been moved on regularly. He’s now 31 and at Belenenses. His time at Reading is still by far his most productive spell at any of his clubs.

Keown”s just put out an autobiography. Wonder if he bothers mentioning any of his time at the club. His son would have been better for the club if he had had the opportunity but sadly he moved to Scotland and has been lost now to injury.
I don't think Keown's a particularly fair pick. He came on a pay as you play deal, we knew he was crocked and he probably spent less than half an hour on the pitch in total. I reckon he was brought in more for to try for his coaching badges.
Ferdinand on the other hand, physically still looked the part, scored 1 goal in 12 appearances, missed some absolute howlers and the most notable thing about his time here was that he once travelled to training in a helicopter.
