howser
My one question if anyone knows the answer, who are the prospective buyers dealing with Sir John or Zingarevich ? I only ask as I trust Sir John to get the best deal and ownership for the club, whereas I suspect Zingarevich is mainly interested in recouping his money.

It's been widely reported that both the US and Omani offers would be for the whole club. Therefore both SJM and Tsi will be involved, presumably Chris Samuelson representing Tsi. No idea whether this means there are 2 sets of talks as there is no real reason why SJM and Tsi should be working together, each could want different things from the deal, they could even value their holdings differently.
It may be that this is what is taking time, it's not a simple buyer/ seller situation

If fans ever wanted to own a percentage of the club now would be the time.

SJM & TSI would sell their shares in conjunction. The Omanis/Yanks would be stupid to buy half the club for more than the other half.

Bollox to that, Last thing I want is someone haranguing me in the concourse at half time demanding to know where the money's gone.

This is where you discover TSI selling to the Omanis and SJM to the Yanks.........

Vinnie Mc turns up expecting to have full control, only to find out that the other half has been sold off to the fans' favourite from Oman. Cue Gylfi driving into the stadium in a milk truck.

McMahon storms onto the pitch to shout a speech at the fans. Then music erupts into the stadium mid-speech, he spins around angered - 'The Sheik' comes bounding down the stairs in Y23, jumps onto the pitch and suplexes McMahon. While marching around victoriously waving to the crowd, McMahon slams 'The Sheik' in the back with a dustbin made of kitchen foil.

noelgallagher The takeover was completed tonight by the Omanians. Expect the club to make an announcement at some point next week. Funds have been provided upfront to the club in advance from the investors in the same way it was when Zingarevich took over. There will be the usual checks carried out but this is now confirmed. Expect some more bids for players early next week. Quite happy to be hauled over the coals if I'm wrong but I have better things to do with my time than make up stories.

Thought you guys would like to know.

Thanks Craig. Contrary to what Kingsley Royal tweets, you're clearly not a bad guy after all!

Not selling any star names is a bit different to the few that were clearly not in their plans and allowed to leave, i.e. Sharp, Do Prado, Tandoori Lee..

Would be more believable if it was not an unknown race of aliens as per Omanians and it was Omanis

The Chronicle is a terrible paper. I don't know how they get away with printing the endless crap they do.

Why would they sell together ? No reason why they should. Each will looking out for themselves

And the new people would be stupid not to drive down the price of half the club..... If they know AZ is desperate to sell they could easily try and force him to take a lower price as long as they were smart about it
