http://www.leedsunited.com/news/article ... -to-settle

Am I reading this wrong but has Brian got his facts completely wrong and has mentally blocked rodgers going to Swansea and beating him in that game at Wembley...

“I wasn’t preparing for management during my early days there, I was happy doing what I had to do. I was chief scout so I was trying to find players for Steve, Alan and Brendan, I was happy. Obviously Brendan then went to Liverpool and they asked me to do it. It’s what I do now and I’m enjoying every minute of it."

Maguire
Muskrat 2 weeks today is going to be interesting...

Think the game's on Weds mate.

Still, at least this thread will be settled one way or another by full-time.

Unless it's a draw, in which case we rollover to the away fixture.

Unfortunately some people probably think that's the case.

Agreed. It's as though he didn't want to use the word "sacked"

I thought that it was a decent read. Must inspire a few pangs of regret from the RFC so-called hierarchy.

Agreed. He didn't deserve to be sacked in the manner he was regardless if we were/are shit.

Maguire Looking forward to giving Brian a big cheer tonight

Agreed. Hopefully a blast of "One Brian McDermott", followed by a round of "Championes" and then be done with it. We move on.

Wow from hoof ball to the most turgid and boring performance of recent years on Saturday. How things have improved.

Would be nice after he was so harshly sacked by Reading after all he did for the club.
