I'm not sure what your point is.

You quoted a win rate of 4 from 16 for Nigel, which included a load of games in the Premier League.

You then stated that Brian's win rate at Leeds was better, but all of those were in the Championship.

In their new jobs, Ding Dong

Quite simply (wind your srawny neck in).............. and with no particular point to be made.........., they are both great managers dumped out of their jobs at the wrong time by their dubious owners.

Both of which (Brian and Nigel), I have the ultimate long time respect for.

One8Seven1
Alexander Litvinenko
joeroyal Absolutely orgasmic to see McD's face at the end it was fantastic what a splendid sight it was he looked like as if he had just been mugged, all this love in stuff with him
he came looking for exact same but didn't get it hoof ball king

And even better that it was his only effective tactic from the past year - throwing ALF on late and hoping he grabs something - that was his undoing.

And Guthrie's performance as well. He's been superb this season, and last night showed Brian exactly what we missed last season, has he used him the right way.

Likewise Pearce.

However, I think his signing and then freezing out of Guthrie was a major contributory factor to his failure/dismissal in more ways than one.

When Nigel is sacked he won't get more than 27 pages.

Sorry spizz, just trying to nudge the thread towards 100 so it can be locked and never seen again.

This thread definitely deserves 100 pages.

I hope it gets there.

Brian will go down as a Reading legend.

good cup runs,
championship survival,
wembley play-offs
promotion to the prem as champions
second/third best season ever

just isn't enough for some of our descerning fans though

I love this club
