Yep, if you take the fluff away, its not a bad outsiders view on us at the moment.

However we do seem to be, all be it painfully slowly, getting better so I dont think the game will pan out quite like the writer thinks

Actually fancy a sneaky away win at Burnley (RTG off now  )

brendywendy pretty fair assessment of our weaknesses id say.

although it does seem based mainly on the fact that the defence was all over the shop in the city game, and that we failed to get a shot on target in the boro game(which says to me hes reviewed that on teh basis of stats and highlights, which really didnt give an indication of how well we played)

If it was based purely on watching us at Bristol no arguments - but if we play like we did for the first 70 minutes of that game against anyone else we'll lose for sure.

But it doesn't take into account our inconsistency, as well as the fact that we've got to be learning so should get better all the time.

The Clitheroe Advertiser At the other end, Adam Federici kept a clean sheet last weekend, his third of the season.

In his 10 outings prior to the Middlesbrough game, he conceded two or more goals on five occasions.

The Australian international does not command his area.

Poor positioning has led to him conceding at his near post on numerous occasions.

As I mentioned when discussing Lee Camp, this is a criminal error for any goalkeeper.

FAO Federici fans, this sums it up perfectly!

Reading and Manchester United may be poles apart
how very dare he!
but in Mathieu Manset the Royals possess a weapon shaping up to be equally as deadly as the “baby-faced assassin”.

i can think of no two players less alike.

and lol at their comments on HRK and his central penetrating runs

Footballer has weaknesses that he needs to work on shocker.

I'm sure if he was scouting McCarthy he'd mention poor kicking, failure to deal with tame shots that go across, failure to command his area and conceding 3 goals against dross like Sheffield United and Palace.

LOL, yeah! Solskjær was a smallish quick type who could also cross the ball well, and always made the right moves when he didn't have the ball, got into spaces, and ran one direction then the other, in order to lose his defender. At one point they thought his crossing was so good, so they drafted him in to replace Beckham on the right.
I honestly can not see any of the same in Manset. He's a big strong guy, but I honestly can't see him replacing Beckham any time soon.

IF anything Le Fondre is the one most similar to Solskjær in that he has a knack of being in the right place and is a lethal finisher.

Those guys don't know what the fcuk they're talking about.
Maybe next time they can try to describe Karacan as the new Zidane.

I think he was comparing Ole's impact from the bench....................................or am I the subject of a whoosh?

Ha ha ha ha this bloke doesn't have a clue!

From there the ball will be played into the feet of Leigertwood. He will operate a holding role and screen the defence. His distribution will be directed towards the flanks.

Ball to feet?!?!?!?!? When does that ever happen? No mention of hoofing it long at all?!?

It also doesn't take into account our ability and drive to play for the full 90 minutes.

Palace were the better side for most of that game. Plus he saved a penalty.

LOL @ McAnuff, Tabb, Leigertwood, Robson-Kanu indicates HRK will be operating between midfield and attack centrally? Having just described us as a 4-4-2 outfit

Is this guy so out of touch he thinks Tabb is still a left winger?

I hope he will come out and say Alex Pearce is the new John Terry
