Libertine The only thing I have confidence with Pog is his interest to collect a big fat paycheck. I get the feeling he believes playing at this level is beneath him and his competitive fire has flickered out, so far it appears to me he just doesn't care at this point.

to be fair to the guy he's had two five minute sub appearances and a game at Peterborough where nobody came out of it well

So he doesn't train or play with the reserves then?

But wasn't the point everyone was making of why we lost 6-0 to Peterborough, cos they weren't getting proper first team football?!

Just get behind him now!

Stop booing him, stop sarcastically cheering when he doesn't do something right. Just like Drenthe and ALF he is clearly a confidence player. Give him that confidence, becuase at the moment I imagine he doesnt want to play for the pricks that consistently boo him.

I have never ever understood fans booing there own player, what fcking good does that do?!?!?!

Just support him and stop being so fcking pathetic!!!

It'll be interesting how the Pogrebnyak situation pans out. It would seem that, like Mariappa, he was being overlooked because he wanted away.

Now it's probably unlikely he'll be on the move his only chance of getting away in January would seem to be to perform well between now and then and force clubs to take notice of him.

I still think he could be a real threat in this league, but he has to be motivated. A big test for Adkins to see if he can get him going and back into the team and firing on all cylinders.

Is he going to stop going on and on to the Russian media about wanting to get away as quickly as possible then?

You'd hope so, as his window to move has closed, nothing now to gain until Jan.

As someone else pointed out, the big test is to see if Adkins can make him realise that he needs to produce, get suitable buyers interested, and he will get his wish.

Not hard to work out, if he sulks, his value plummets, so his demands of "I want £X to join etc" will be laughed at by all potential clubs.

Not by me (or Adkins)! That was just the excuse trotted out by those who still think Pog is not a 21st Century Schizoid Moran

The real reason was they were shit and the "beast" we had up front was a donkey

Pog and his T34!!

:D :D

The Germans also noted the T-34 was very slow to find and engage targets, while their own tanks could typically get off three rounds for every one fired by the T-34.

Quality player. Showed plenty of class touches in the first 25 mins at Peterborough.

Then he got all rattled and couldn't be @rsed.

No he's suck with us til January perhaps he'll apply himself a bit more; the best way to get a move away from these losers is to perform head and shoulders above them and hope for that January move

It's pathetic - behaving like a spoilt bunch of muggy Gooners... just without the history to back it up. Brighton are another club who's fans give it all this BS about 'when we get in the prem', turn out in droves giving it large and then fúck off 80 mins into their play-off semi cos they ain't winning. Our fans are unfortunately as much of a joke now too

No - that would need to have happened before the window closed. 90-day deals only now.

People keep going on about the reserve team - but when do they play? I didn't think we had competitive reserve games anymore - which is why I've said that it was unfair to blame some of those that played against Peterborough because I can't see where they've had competitive matches. I thought we only had an U21 league and Academy games these days.....I've looked on the official site and I can't find any reference to their reserve games, other than U21. So players like Pog et al, aren't getting the practice they need in competitive games to put into action this new style of playing that Adkins is trying to achieve with the first team. Happy, as always, to be proven wrong (which I normally am).

Also before we start feeling sorry for the incredible Pog, remember he earns more in a week than the rest of us earn in a year

... and why is that?! Because he isn't interested in scoring goals. If he had notched double figures and gave the efforts that a lone striker should I'd back him up but he's lazy, never looks like he gives a shit, hence not starting games.

And yes there would be clubs that'd take him, clubs that don't know how crap he really is.
