melonhead if winning your home games and drawing your away games is championship winning form

i see no reason why winning your away games and drawing your home games isnt...

Wasn't excellent away form part of Pardew's PO season? I seem to recall we only drew 4 games that season, so I guess it's not quite the same.

Didn't we draw 8 of the last 9 games alone that season?

Championship, not the promotion from League One as is.

Away form not as good as home, but I was right about the draws and only 1 away win shy of the home wins. Finishing 4th losing 17 matches is pretty impressive.

avoiding losing (m)any more games isn't unthinkable. 20 points would almost certainly see us make it into the play offs, that's 5 wins & 5 draws, or 6 wins + 2 draws & 2 loses. 16 might get us there.

You hope.....

Burnley, Leicester and Wigan still to play look like three probable defeats to me.

Put Bournemouth in the mix as well as they will be up for it.

4 defeats in the last 10 games will mean we have to win the other six!!

You seem to be confusing my saying what could happen as a prediction of what will happen.
