Mid Sussex Royal
strap
PremAddict First ever match thread start!

Line-ups:

Reading: Fedders, Gunter (c), Hector, Cooper, Chalobah, Akpan, Williams, Mackie, McCleary, HRK, Blackman; Subs: Anderson, Keown, Norwood, Taylor, Cox, Pog, Yak

BHA: Stockdale, Halford, Greer, Dunk, Bennett, Ince, Kayal, Forster-Caskey, Ledesma, O'Grady, LuaLua; Subs: Ankergren, Calderon, Bruno, Hughes, Holla, Teixeira, Best.

So 3-6-0 then? What an attacking line-up for a home game against a team in 19th place in the division.

"Resting" all 3 strikers the club possess. Will he REALLY be using all 3 on Saturday??? Couldn't Yak have started for at least 60 mins? Or have 1+5 sub apps totalling exactly 180 minutes of football since 10th Feb had such a draining effect on him that he needs a rest??

And don't get me started on how SC has binned the vast majority of the U21's since coming on board. Save Jake Cooper beinbg a regular bench warmer and gettinga rare start tonight, it does seem as though SC is gradually sidelining all the youngsters given chances by NA.

Oh well, what do I know?? I'm just a fan in my 45th year of following the club. SC obviously has a deeply disguised plan that is way above mere fans.

Agree - one area I am not happy about with SC.

Would have liked to have seen Cooper and even Kuhl getting some game time tonight - maybe if we get the points on the board to see us safe he will try a few out.

How much is that down to Clarke having more regulars available though? A lot of them were out injured which forced Adkins hand to an extent.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I think the last time an U21 other than Obita and Cooper got on the pitch was against Derby on the 18th of October (when Kuhl came on as a sub). It's not really been anything to do with Clarke.

This team is frightening! Gunter left back, McCleary right back? Or Mackie at full back? Or Gunter at centre back in a 3-5-2?

I'll cry if Blackman or HRK are playing wing back.

Reading FC ‏@ReadingFC 20s20 seconds ago
So the Royals start with Gunter at right back, Chalobah left back, Cooper and Hector in the middle.

Charles Watts ‏@charles_watts 43s43 seconds ago
Blackman up top with Mackie. #readingfc

The Tilehurst End ‏@TheTilehurstEnd 24s24 seconds ago
4-4-2 for #readingfc with Chalobah at LB

Cooper and Hector should be our CB pairing next season. Yeah Cooper might make the odd mistake but he is young and will learn from it, unlike Pearce who is still a liability. When I've watched Cooper he's been the standout in defence.

Another Brighton fan has contracted Hiv, the virus that leads to aids.

A couple of their fans gave stuck trumpets up their arses a tribute.

Cooper has been making the same mistakes for four years.

Pearce isn't a liability. He was POTS when we got promoted. Although he's struggled to recapture that form at times this season, he's comfortably our best defender.

Chalobah at left back is interesting.

Is Travener injured or just rubbish?

23 minutes gone and it's Mackie with a well-hit strike, seizing on a loose pass to fire home from 18 yards! Get in!!

Ha, I will admit I was very much on the fence with regards to Mackie a few weeks ago, now I hope we sign him up!

Well the hivemind disagreed at that point, and you really should know better than to share your own opinions.
