Hound Him and Williams do feel like good signings for this level and give us some depth. It would point to Fraser being out long term

Wouldn’t expect him to come in ahead of Abrefa or Yiadom but he might. Think he’ll play in a solid 3 man mid with wing and savage

4-1-4-1 with him behind Wing and Savage?

Was thinking about this earlier and came to the same conclusion: 4-1-4-1.

.......................Pereira
Abrefa, O'Connor, Williams, Jacob
...................Rinomhota
Lane.......Wing.......Savage..Ehibhatiomhan
.....................Marriott

That midfield's a bit.... lacking flair. Not really going to have anyone beating their man in the middle.

IIRC, Rinomhota was capable of picking up the ball from deep and driving forward when he was here.

South Coast Royal Not as old as I thought he was by now at 28.

Yeah same here I was expecting a tired old 36 year old playing out his career here, but at 28 he's at his peak. Must've been like 11 or so when he played for us!

A bit surprised that he's not wanted by anyone else, if he did well at Cardiff and is now in his prime. Oh well, whatever it is, perhaps he'll find form here, if we can fit him in somewhere.

From Despair To Where? I think he's a good signing. We know what he's capable of and I think it's a signing that allows other players (Wing, Savage) to play in their more natural position.

assuming we have signed him to play in cm...

I'd expect him to play there, especially with Yiadom now back (assuming we've had no new injuries). A ball-winner in central midfield is one of the things we've been lacking.

I wonder if he was holding out for a Championship side, or, as others have said, wanted a higher wage than sides would give him.

I hope it wasn't because of injuries.

Yes he was good at that. But he needed someone to hand it off to after that. He looked like he got a nose bleed any time he went near the oppo box.
