Liam Rosenior is more famous than DLC and Gunter. Could argue that Luke Chadwick is more famous than Glen Little.

And Jimmy Kebe I suspect is hardly known elsewhere.

Fran Kirby, Mary Earps and Farah Williams must be considerations

Women's team would really be a separate conversation to the men's team.

John Halls second career as a model probably overshadows his eight appearances for us.

From Despair To Where? Ray Houghton

Ian Porterfield

Jim Leighton

Steve Archibald

Laurie Sanchez

If you include friendly appearances, Daley Thompson, George Best.
Matt Busby played 30 times for us during the War.

John O'Shea

Played against Laurie a couple of times, back in the day. His general physique, physical fitness and ability on the ball were second to none. Terrific player.

Fran was considered to be eligible for the hall of fame alongside her male colleagues. I’d say the women deserve to at least be considered, although Indon’t think they would actually make the final cut

Wonder what Lawrie’s up to now, he left his last gig (in Greece) in 2014.

According to Goggle, he's a football pundit, consultant and speaker. And you were right to correct the 'u' to a 'w', given that his christian name is Lawrence. The last time I saw Lawrie was over at Biggles in Woodley. What a gaff that was. He was stood at the bar drinking orange juice, of course he was drinking orange juice :D As soon as he saw me, we carried on to have a chat. One of football's good guys.
