Whore Jackie Setanta's fixtures now announced till the end of March. We've only featured twice on Setanta this season. What's the rule on number of appearances per broadcaster with the current TV deal? Could see a few of our games being shifted around in April and early May ...

As I've said in Meeting Up - my money's on Shitanta moving our away game at Newcastle to the Monday night

Depending on the TV deal contractural terms, I could quite easily see the Newcastle and Arsenal away games and Fulham home game being shifted in April. Spurs in early May wouldn't be a bad bet either. Let's hope Derby away will be too meaningless to televise.

Luckily we're having our Newcastle lads weekend away in conjunction with the Boro game. 8)

Yes, and ruin all the plane, train and hotels bookings.

No thanks.

Hmm, I know it easier for Villa to offer refunds as their fans are only small in number for this game but I wonder if RFC could not have done the same. Oh and Sunday at 12:30pm is shit, where the oxf*rd am I meant to go for a pre-match pint now?

I voiced my displeasure to the PL league yesterday, I accept games will be moved for TV but 4 weeks notice is unacceptable. What I want to know is were RFC asked or told to move the game?

Interesting isn't it that if this was a concert promoter or theatre moving the date of something you had booked to see, you would be entitled to have a refund. But, of course, football fans aren't entitled to such protection. In their case, the law has just one purpose and that is to be used against them!

Do clubs give a toss? Of course not. They've already got their season ticlet money safely in the bank. Television money is their rightful bonus, albeit gained at the expense of supporters.

God how I'll celebrate when the cynical money making business, that English professional football at the top levels has become, finally implodes. Maybe the predicted general economic recession will have a silver lining afterall.

Yes, I would like to know if RFC made strong representations about this to the PL/Sky? And, if not, why not?

You might be still full of beer from the night before.

Mind you we played very well against Villa in an early kick-off last year, but that was a Saturday and Villa are a stronger outfit this season.

That's not a bad shout actually, might finish my drinking around 5am so I'll still be drunk by KO. One can of Tennents Super on the bus and I'll be ready to go
