I was there but have few specific recollections. I do remember Cannoville scoring after about 40 seconds. In an era of hoofball, he was from a completely different footballing planet. But for his injury, I'm convinced he would have been a Reading legend to rival Robin Friday.

I missed that game but I do remember a 1-1 draw with Blackburn at EP which we should have won I think Ollie Kearns scored for us then they leveled in 2nd half. Just one win in ten bit of of a bogey team me thinks.
