Whistle Prolly the ghastly XI that lost 2-4 to Colchester in 1972.

Very sadly, I remember that shocking performance. I was sitting in 'A' stand close to a very, very fat bloke from Colchester. Last home game of the worst season in the club's history although assuaged by the FA Cup run.

So bad it's seared into our minds even at 37 years distance. On that basis for those of you who saw the 0-6 v Gasheads it'll still be with you in 2036. Cheers Elroy.

Tightened up straight after, only let in 15 goals at home in the next 2 seasons I think.

No, I call things as I see them and I'm a damn site more accurate than most on here.

I have never met the bloke and although he comes across as a pugnacious individual, Royalee has to be one of my favourite Team board regulars. I don't always admire his tone, but he usually - not always - tends to call things just about right for me and this, when added to his ever belligerent attitude, makes him one of the most memorable posters on a message board which tends to be over-populated by people with beige opinions. His absolute insistance that Rodgers is the real deal after a mere two months in charge will no doubt provide the juggling fire torches to the perpetual circus that is the HNA Team board.

Cheers floyd, nice to be appreciated by one of HNA's more knowledgeable posters.

Great word.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed to know that online persona is only slightly diluted offline.

He's a no-nothing big-mouthed dickhead just like the rest of us. He's just a bit more persistent and insulting than most.

I also like Royalee. A much better nemisis than snowball. At least you can have a proper argument with him.

And as long as he stays off the subject of Coppell and Harper he's pretty smart.

I thought that one finished 2-5 but it is probably the memory playing tricks. I remember being not too bothered about it simply because we did play so many youngsters in a "dead" end of season game.
