Ideal Sadly his brain is too slow for his footballing ability.
Therefore he has no tactical awareness, can not pick out his teammates and holds on to the ball for too long.
If he were more of an intelligent footballer he would be great. Unfortunately it is not the case.
He takes too long with the ball, makes the wrong choices, and that ultimately is why he is a failure and will never come good for us.
He's too clever and he trusts his team mates too much to be on the same level. One example was against plymouth Last season when Coppell was in charg., we had a free kick in the second half and he passed the ball out to the wing where there was acres of space and a great opportunity for whoever to receive the ball and get a cross in without any pressure. Armstrong was standing in a defensive position when there was no-one forward for plymouth and didn't read what was going on. The ball then left pitch and alot of the idiots around me were shouting who was that too!. Marek has done this on too many many occaisions and he should have learnt by now that he can't be so clever about it and needs to look up. Unlike some of you lot on here I honestly think he's a quality player and would benefit playing for a team who had been playing a passing game for longer than a season and had more tactically aware players around him.
