Royal Rother Liverpool's keeper looked very poor. Just sold himself so cheaply as the strikers were about to pull the trigger.

And having watched the 15 mins of highlights on LFCTV, their main commentator was remarkably fair - even sounded excited as we scored the 3rd and 4th.

Not to mention the way he let D'Jaunes shot slip through his fingers

The Liverpool commentator was pretty knowledgeable, saying Dolan had had 18 academy graduates since coming here (no idea if that's true tho). Also interesting to discover that we'd signed someone from Gillingham (McClennan the scorer of the 4th goal, in April 2012).

It was the same for the U21 game. He talked about us signing Cardwell from Hull last summer and how he'd played for Hull against Liverpool in last season's Youth Cup. He and Stephen Warnock (who was co-commentator that night) also discussed Tshibola and how he'd had a trial at Man Utd  think as a 15 year old?

What's the story on Cardwell btw? It seems unusual for us to sign someone who has already played in the youth cup for someone else, and Reading is a long distance from Hull. Is it simply because we're Cat 1?

Tshibola and Cooper both went on a tour with UTD a few years abck.

I'm not sure it was with a view to join them as both stood out as being decent, particularly Cooper, and neither joined.

I had a link to their forum about that but it was only as experience as United were short of players or something, never with a view to signing or a trial. Their fans were very impressed with both, especially Tish.
