Savage and Hutchinson just don’t get hold of the ball and control possession. It's been a problem all season so far.

we're crying out for a water carrier type player in midfield. That's why I was hopeful when Rino's name was being linked with us in the window. A high energy, defensively minded player instead of Hutchison - perhaps that's where Mbengue could come into his own during the season. I don't think it'd be Wing's forte, nor Elliott's.

I could see Elliott being preferred to Savage later in the season though

I don't know, Wing put in a decent shift as a deep lying midfielder and could certainly get in amongst it - he then had the ability to find a great forward pass. He will be very key to us improving in my mind.

With Yiadom at RB, I would like to see Mbengue in midfield - I think he could add real energy and is technically good enough to do the simple things if not 50 yard cross field passes. Abrefa can come off the bench if Selles needs to manage his full backs.

I don't expect it any time soon, but who knows later in the season with injuries and suspensions.

Fair enough - I haven't seen enough of WIng but the very little I did see I thought he looked quite slow and not particularly "dynamic"
