Where's Madejski?

I saw Sir Mad walking into the out patients building at the Berkshire Independent Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. After that I'm not sure where he went!

Hope all is well!

Maybe that figure came from those accountants who managed to show (all legal and within standard accounting practice, of course) our excellently well run club suddenly making massive losses, thus necessitating us getting rid of virtually all of our decent players.

The Madman states that the Odd Job Boys would not be RFCs cheap options if appointed as Manager and Asst Manager.

So if that is the case then according to SDR's media chums the Madman has let it be known that less than £200K is available as the salary for a new manager. This would be the lowest in the Championship. So that has blown his denial regarding cheap options.

What a complete blo**y imbecile we have as a Chairman. There is no hope for RFC whilst he remains at the Club.

Time for action. Mass demonstrations called for to force the Chairman to step down in an Executive capacity. Realistic price should be put on the Club so that it can be sold. The Madman is taking us back to Division One unless positive action is taken immediately to save the Club.

Real Facts. Real World. You know it makes senseeeeeeeeee

This is actually complete and utter bollock - but is that any surprise. The "going rate" will be paid for a manager - and, in fact, BR was paid a damn good wage, above the average for Tier 1.

BR was paid £400k a year wasn't he? And we paid, what was it, a million in compensation to Watford and he had 3 years left or something, so was probably on about £300k or so at Watford? Or isn't that how it works? In any case, I agree that he was paid a good rate - but I can also see JM wanting to cut costs and pay a manager a lot less now.

I'll do it for 50k p/a. I'd be like Neil Warnock but with a more slapstick approach.

I have suggested that the Reading FC, but they said that what they'd save in salary would be more than offset by the cost of replacing every teacup in the stadium each week.

Paper cups and plates are the way forward (as long as they are not made from recycled paper - be too expensive and wouldn't fit in with the cloth cutting philosophy)

I'll do it for however much McDermott's on - I bet he hasn't won us 5 European Cups on Football Manager, which is frankly more impressive than having managed Slough Town for a bit in real life.
