I agree Coppell did have a system and he had experience as a Manager having succsess, But Rodgers has had no real experience and should not have come to a club that is in transition with getting rid of all our top players it need a manager to steady the ship not sink it.

There was a definite set of tactics and formation being used and a consistent team selection though.

The problem there was a couple of poor players, playing to their limited ability.

The problem here is lots of limited players, playing well below their ability, because of a lack of direction, tactics, formation, and selection consistency or quality.
