Focher Parky was on 30k a year at Charlton last season, with massive bonus' if he kept them up. As far as im aware from a very good friend of his, he has the same deal this season, but with promotion.

Right Coppell was being forced into excepting a big pay cut (the 40% was just for players), which it stated in his contract he had to take if we went down.
The demonstration allowed him to renegotiate this, by saying look I can just walk away and the fans will blame you, which was also in the contract.
But then I don't know what I'm talking about do I?......

howser I am getting confuesd, I do easilly, too much Local Malt !! Players took a 40% pay cut on relegation from the Prem ?? so what is all this guff about players leaving, who were on Premiership salaries ??? tht wasnt another load of bollox from the always very verbal PR dept' was it ?????
