Well i did make the thread one player but...people seemed to want to add a few which is fair enough as we have had some cracking players.A reading alltime 11 thread would be good if it hasnt been done already...maybe someone can make one if it hasnt.Would be a good read..

Plus manager though im sure we would all pick SSC

But would many on here give him the time he'd need to succeed, and the time he was given? Or would they be screaming for his head after three consecutive 30- defeats like he had a few months into his stretch as manager? As expectations have grown unrealistically, patience has reduced proportionately.

Wdowczyck, but I doubt whether that sentiment would be shared by our manager. When was the last time one of our central defenders received the ball from the keeper? Brian`s methods have served him well but this kick and rush stuff can only take us so far. Fifteen years ago everyone loved Darius and we took the piss at the hoof ball sides who couldnt get the ball off us. I am sure if we stumbled on a manager now who encouraged the team to pass the ball, the ever so knowledgable Reading crowd would get right behind him. But who? How about the bloke down at Swansea?
