I'm in Brighton anyway that weekend so we'll take that ty x

Why are you in Brighton that weekend ??

Going down on the Friday night to see my ex-housemates, then on the Saturday night it's Curryoke in Worthing for my bird's Mum's birthday - the majority of the attendees will be Seagulls so it will be fantastic if we beat them

genome ITV really are shit. The graphics froze halfway through (and never came back) and everyone got a bit confused in the studio, then on the last ball the presenter took ages to realise who it was.

"And it's Bournemouth vs......... F.... er...F...Fleetwood or Burton Albion"

I know it's nothing disastrous but there always seems to be an air of amateurism about ITV Sport, it really irks me.

It was the same on BT Sport too

Weird

Don't fall into the trap that many away fans do and get stuck drinking overpriced beer in the concourse before the game - there are no pubs near the ground, except The Swan village pub in Falmer - small and strictly 'Home Fans Only', and the Hikers Rest in Coldean which is de facto 'Home Fans Only' as it is the home of the Brighton 'firm', even from back in the days when they played at the Goldstone on the other side of town, and is notoriously rough (as reflected in the honest reviews on 'beerintheevening.com')

Those with student union cards (or a youthful complexion) will be able to purchase cheap booze on the University of Sussex campus, but as term doesn't start until the 6th I would suggest that only the East Slope Bar will be open, and its a good 15 mins to/from the ground.

The best bet is to go to The Evening Star 30s from Brighton's main station - where they have over 50 beers available at any one time, and handily it's opposite the Sex Shop if you want to pick up an inflatable companion for the day:

Green Curryoke :?:

The alternative 'night out' in Worthing for those who don't want to play bingo - A curry followed by Karaoke.

What date will this be?

Not sure how well we will travel though - considering we are playing them in the league in March

I know we won't take many, but it'd be a great day out if that happened is all I'm saying!

4 times in three years is by the end of the season, done both previous visits, will do both this season as well.

Evening Star by the station sounds like a plan! £17-odd for the train on a group save!

I live by the pier. Prolly get the train or bus up although mrs br may be persuaded to do a taxi run up there. And actually a taxi's not a bad shout in any case.

I'd hop on the 25 at the Steine as the queue to get on the Falmer train can be epic, and the station staff are arseholes whenever it's matchday/pride/LDN->BTN

Whilst it is the best boozer for beer it's only small. If there you are looking to get hundreds packed in for a pissed up singsong (like at Yeovil) then the Post & Telegraph (new Wetherspoons) is prolly a decent shout, and the bus to the ground stops right outside.
