I know he likes him, and i'm sure he's our prime summer target, but it's a bit worrying when Adkins come out with statements like

“Odds are he’s going to score,”

about Mr Sharp

Mind games, puts pressure on him to score, maybe Adkins knows him and is trying to either pressurise who he sees as Donny's big threat or maybe coax him into overdoing it and making mistakes.

Perhaps Adkins should concentrate on football games first because so far his record with those have been patchy at best.

Not optimistic that we can limp (literally in the case of our midfield) over the line with 3 wins in a row.

RoyallyFcuked I'm going to be optimistic this time.

Doncaster 1-3 Reading

Sharp

Le Fondre 2 (1 pen)
McCleary

Correct score and bonus point for knowing ALF would score a penalty 8)

Pepe the Horseman
Maguire
winchester_royal There is absolutely NO way Billy Sharp is going to score against us. You can take that to the bank.

Congratulations - you've just cost us promotion.

Even if he doesn't score, you can't pfuck with the Gods like that and get away with it.

Ennit. Unless he's got a Judas bet on, I dunno wtfuck he's playin at.

On the contrary. By calling him out on it early, we ensured it wouldn't happen.

He got an assist, which is kind of like half a goal

As much as I'd love to take the credit for yesterday's win, I think most of the plaudits have to go to maffff for his anti-Taylor posts over the last couple of weeks.

maffff
MouldyRoyal Looks like Guthrie and HRK are unavailable.

McCarthy
Gunter, Pearce, Morrison, Obita
McCleary, Williams, Akpan, McAnuff
Le Fondre, Blackman

Subs: Federici, Cummings, Gorkss, Hector, Drenthe, Taylor, Pogrebnyak

This team.

But without Taylor on the bench. Maybe drop one of Gorkss or Hector (pref G), too.

maffff
SPARTA Jake Taylor deserves a chance though, otherwise there's little point in him being in the squad.

I'd rather have Ledge being off form than Taylor tbh. Can't see anything in him that he brings to the team and doubt after this season (unless for some stupid reason we keep him on) he'll be playing above League 2.
