Lost twice to league two sides now without really looking like scoring with the new season 3 weeks away. Maybe even league one will be beyond us. Without serious reinforcements. Only thing worth going today was ticking a new ground off.

Friendlies usually don't count but it we can't even look like scoring vs two league two sides then we are in trouble. We deserve better.

IT'S A FRIENDLY. We lost against Farnborough in pre-season before we broke the points record.

I really wouldn’t read too much into pre season friendlies. They’re purely about fitness and we have 3 weeks before the season starts. We should see a few more new faces before then and Selles will have had more time with the squad.

Why are we playing a world cup winner from 1998?! Are we that oxf*rd desperate now we need 55 year olds?!

Who's Djorkaeff? Let's hope he's not a dork of a player.

Amos and Shadipo were non descript until they were substituted, as was Knibbs.

Azeez was the pick (followed by Hutch and NGW) but as usual the team was completely devoid of creativity for long periods and were caught out twice in 2 minutes being overrun in midfield in exactly the same part of the pitch. If Selles can turn that mess around in a week then I'll be stunned, even 3 weeks would be a big ask.

Same problem, desperately need creativity and depth in the squad, thought Bouzanis looked comfortable and competently dealt with all that came at him. The last half hour was just a pretty meaningless kick about. Need at least 4/5 reasonably experienced players to come in.

I'm sure Tim/Adie said there was a press conference at the SCL scheduled for 2pm Monday, presuming it's to officially unveil Selles rather than a new owner reveal or actual communication Q&A exercise.

Maybe I'm being a realist in that the season starts in 3 weeks and we don't look like scoring against teams that are almost non league? Maybe look at the facts and you'll understand.

I'm not 100% with you, but the last few months has brought me round a lot.

I may have been very wrong about them being different. Which just makes the loafer persona even more obscene if you're right.
