Has now formally been returned to Hull:

Matty Jacob Loan Deal Ends.

Reading Football Club can confirm that defender Matty Jacob has returned to Hull City.

The full-back joined the club on loan in June and was a regular during the early stages of the season, making 16 appearances in League One and cup competitions.

However, an injury sustained against Carlisle United in the FA Cup has ruled the 24-year-old out of action and as a result, Matty returns to East Yorkshire.

All at Reading would like to wish Matty the very best in his career going forwards, and thank him for his efforts with the club.
