Gus the teenage cow tony cascarino is the cheapest signing in premiership history, i think he was signed for some footballs and tracksuits, i am not sure if any of our players can beat that

Given that that transfer was between two sides that have never played in the Premiership or even the top flight and that the transfer occured in 1981, I'm not sure how that's the cheapest signing in Premiership history.

he went on to become a premiership player with chelsea, the transfer was indeed to millwall who became a top flight side

No, it wasn't.

And how is it the cheapest signing in Premiership history when it occured 11 years before the Premiership started?

ok let me rephrase it for the pedants in the house, sometimes i feel like i have to write my posts like they are a legal document

tony cascarino probably had the most unusual and cheapest transfer ever(not including frees) for a player who later became a premier league/premiership/ premier league again player

Better.

You could simply try 'not posting'.

Tis no more unusual than Zat Knight's transfer to Fulham from Rushall Olympic for 30 tracksuits.

Gus the Teenage Cow once again shows his complete inability to understand even the simplest discussion and then manages to also get wrong the incredibly stupid point he is failing to make.

Congratulations Gus, I believe you're dim-wittedness may now be approaching that of someone with brain death. If Norfolk's carrots could type they'd bring more to a discussion.

I'm sure we can find many players who've been at premiership teams and started in non-league. Kitson, Ian Wright I believe, it's not unheard of.

Gus = WUM of the highest order. The majority of discussions he is in become public pissing contests and I have a strange feeling that he really doesn't believe half the stuff he posts just does it to get a rise out of everyone.

He's providing a nice service to me though. I find it quite relaxing thinking up new ways to question his intellect and be a bit rude.

The bizarre thing is that we are 12th in the Prem with a team that's worse - no Sidwell or Little - than the one that was in the Championship 2 seasons ago .

Has a premiership team ever fielded a team from their promotion season 2 years after being promoted ? Hard to research I know.

Before signing Anelka Bolton have done very well over a number of years at Premiership level by spending very little on transfer fees.
