TheMaraudingDog Oh look - another negative post from mr negative

So that’s that then is it, Mr That’s That?

Hunt’s performance at Everton was actually his RFC career in microcosm. Huffed and puffed a lot, busied himself with attempts at squaring up to anyone who so much as looked at him twice and took a succession of appaling corners, one of which never even made it into play. That said, I shall still be voting for him as our Player of the Season, which probably says all you need to know about the season we have ‘enjoyed’.

Ian Royal Probably the best left winger you'll find outside the real big teams.

OK OK stop there, just stop there!

This thread has become another slagging match about Huntie's abilities, when it is really a thread about the topic of conversation that took place between Keano and Coppell on the afternoon of the 22nd December last year.

There are those who say the frank discussion concerned something that Coppell and Hammond failed to disclose about Greg Halford prior to his transfer during the summer. And that it concerned his private life.

Now Cookie is wondering what on earth that could mean for a 21st century boy, in this post-Fashanu era.

Is it terrorism, is it bestiality, is he a swinger? What could be such a show-stopper?

What do you reckon Top Cat?

Cookie ,
I think you will find that TC's topic related to our opinion of the £7million man not about Halford's mysterious private life.
YOU might be more interested in what the boy Greg did behind closed doors and what happened at the Mad Stad behind closed doors but this is a football forum and not an extension of Sunday Sport so don't try to dictate the agenda.

You forgot LOLito and a whole realm of ROFLs.

Villa's third choice left midfielder would improve our squad, FFS.

Dirk Gently Top Cat - A question for you,- as I've heard a couple of different accounts of this from Sunderland-supporting mates.

When Keano exploded in Steve Coppell's office after the match at the MadStad, was it solely down to the last minute winner, or was it more to do with certain features of Halford's personal life that Keane thinks we should have told him about?
A players personal life should be scouted as well as his on the pitch performances, If Keane is unhappy with what the scouts missed he should vent his anger towards the scouts.... presumably we did the same when we missed the same thing.

What same thing? Just tell us for Chrissake and stop gloating in the glory of "knowing" what the issue is and the rest of us don't. At the least, tell us in a responsible way that is not libellious (remember it has to be lies to be libellious, anyway). (Note, you'll need to say "it is strongly rumoured...")

A Sunderland forum was temporarily closed down and threatened with legal action (by Sunderland FC) over this topic so no amount of "strong rumours" or "allegedly" can get round it.

Personlly I would go for the deletion of the entire topic.

Awww OK then.
No; joking apart, the mods at one of the Palace message boards had to delete loads of stuff following Halford's roumoured move to Palace just before he eventually moved to Charlton.

So I'll shut up and bear in mind what Plattie said. After all he doesn't want Nicky Hammond's legal team feeling his collar.

Guess we'll never know for sure, but Charlton is pretty near to Chessington World of Adventure isn't it? :D

I'm also in the dark about the alleged difficulties with Mr Halford and I would appreciate anyone ITK to PM me so that I can laugh, joke, whatever, privately - most importantly away from the public forum.

Ta.

Hasn't John Halls just come back from Palace? perhaps he shared a bit of information on Halford. Not quite sure what the Chessington comment is suggesting was it aimed at the two on the side or the one in the middle.
