Well its not everyday you see a keeper score !

Tbh we wernt at our best today, but both teams had the chances to win it so i think a draw was a fair result in the end!

Well chuffed fed got his goal though, at first i thoguht it was Dobbs which would have been funny aswell as he got so much abuse by the Cardiff fans.

And Agreed there kebe to start at siants me made a big difference on the wing when he cme on!

Federici - 9 Great distribution, took crosses and scored at the end.
Armstrong - 6 Average
Ingimarsson - 4 One of the worst games I've seen him play - Chopra did him time and time again, he lost most headers and sliced the ball time and time again
Duberry - 5 Poor as well, which was a shame after last week. Let the stick he was receiving get the better of him, which was unfortunate.
Rosenior - 5 At fault for the goal, didn't have the best of games either.
Hunt - 7 Kept running and was always a threat
Cisse - 7 Solid and played simply and effectively
Harper - 5 Out of position several times and had no influence on the game
Henry - 5 Never got going
Doyle - 7 Worked hard as usual and was a threat
Hunt - 6 Did okay before being subbed, silly decision really when you see Chopra scored for Cardiff after Jones kept him on

Long - 5 Didn't do anything of note, lost the ball several times and made silly tackles again
Kebe - 7 Was impressed with him today, came on and made a big impact with his pace and running

Franchise FC
S09Royal Wow, just WOW

In my opinion we did NOT deserve that, we played utter shite all over the pitch, especially in the midfield.

I didn't see what happened at the end as i saw the goal on the tele walking out, as soon as i saw it was a goal i ran back in and was greeted by many hugs and cheers

I thought Rosenior played a terrible game-he quite possibly gave the ball away more times than Harper-who i thought had a good game. The linesman on our side (east) never did anything and didnt even wave his flag when Fedders was fouled. A very frustrating game but a goal at the death to earn a point-well the Cardiff fans must be sick of Reading robbing them of a win

We will never get promoted based on that performance, we have to be better on Sunday or Soton could pull a double on us.
Whoever said in the predictions that a Reading xmas hangover would cause a 1-1 draw, were completly right, because in all honesty, we did not know what we were doing. Great point, undeserved.

Oh and Kebe to start against Soton.

I just love it when some idiot leaves the game before the end. Why pay for the whole game when you don;t see it all, particularly the best bit.

I walked out (from my seat) and watched the last corner on the tele before the end as i was getting increasingly annoyed with the ref, cardiff fans and technically i didn't actually leave the stadium until the full time whistle.

thought harps was better than cisse today though
cisse gave the ball away more, and did less with it too

Think I must have been watching a different game to most of you...I thought it was one of the best of the season. Anyone who says Reading were crap doesn't appreciate that Cardiff are actually a good team. They had a game plan and for 94 minutes it worked. Can understand people thinking the 1st half wasn't great (I thought it was absorbing) but the 2nd half really opened up and could have gone either way. What a way to finish the game too.

Referee - not really in control, at least partly responsible for the game getting fractious

Cardiff fans - as expected really. Nothing would have kicked off at the end if they had won or been beaten easily. Just got a bit upset at the late equaliser. I wish we had some of their passion without the aggro.

Reading fans - embarrassingly quiet at times. Felt sorry for Duberry, got absolutely no support from the fans.

All in all a fair result.

Can't win 'em all and we're not up to Wolves standard this season (consistency wise, on our day we are about a match for them). 5 wins on the trot, a tough game against a decent Cardiff side which results in a draw.

Suits me fine, provided we kick on and beat the next lot. B'ham are back up our arse ready to nudge ahead again, but we lost no ground on Wolves which is a good thing.

I still don't think we've refound our fluidity, we were ok and clinical against B'ham, but not great. We need to start putting in performances, but clearly teams are coming to stop us, rather than play their game and we don't do breaking down tough defences or switching to a plan b too well.

Remember, this is still only the 6th and 7th points dropped at home all season.

Chopra sounded like he was lucky to be on the pitch to score.

I'd really much rather Coppell brought on Marek when he takes off NHunt. Stick him in the middle with Harper and Cisse and push SHunt and Kebe/Henry further forward. Changes our shape and forces the other team to adapt.

And it avoids Long coming on, who simply doesn't score or create enough to be worth trying to use as a match saving sub.

Very Very pleased for A Fed. Have to try and complete the full 11 scoring thing again. Rosenior must be more likly than Murty. Although Armstrong is less likely than Shorey of course.

All in all sounded poor and disappointing, although pleasing we kept fighting the whole way and earnt the draw. I honestly didn't think the game was savable. Cardiff sounded all over us in the second half. Whilst it was more open than the first half and we seemed to get chances too, Cardiff seemed the more likely to actually put it away. Maybe thats just my paranoia speaking though.

Would pretty much agree with above but i can't believe i am going to say it but harper played much better than a 5. Each time I saw him out of position he was having to fall back to take up position in place of Duberry who was off having a jog somewhere without a care in the world.
During the first half i did not think that Duberry would last the match without being sent off. However the abuse he got during the second half from the south stand was disgusting and completely uncalled for.

thought Harps performance was much better today.constantly covered for others who were caught out of position.

Duberry today was our weak link, kept giving away stupid fouls which we didn't really need. Thought Kebe coming on gave us a bit of a spark.

How chopra was still on the pitch to score was beyond me. Any other player would have been booked for the tug of federici, and he possibly shouldn't have been on the pitch t=after the challenge on fed

Harper was one of the best players on the pitch today.
Doyle and NHunt had an average game and how Doyle missed from close range during the 2nd half i'll never know.
Liam was one of the worst players today and his link up play with Kebe, resulting in the ball going out for a Cardiff throw in, was far from it was before Kebe was suspended. Him to start on Sunday and us to beat Soton. C'mon Reading!

Giving Harps a 5 for today is an absolute joke BUT though we worked hard and matched a very solid outfit we did lack creativity. I thought SC might have started with Jimmy today and maybe left Henry for Soton game. We got more space at Brum because they came at us as the home side. Maybe Marek might have been overpowered in such a physical game but maybe the time will come when we have to sacrifice one of Harps and Cisse to find out if Marek has the class to unlock sides like this, otherwise we might as well sell him on to a team that wants that type of player...don't get me wrong..I like what Harps and Cisse bring to the team but they will not unlock defences who sit tight. Yes the ref should have sent off Chopra but he might have done Noel as well which is why SC subbed him. Cardiff fans..always seem to cause trouble here.....most predictable event of the season.

Could not see their goal for offside as was at far end but the AFED moment was the best of the season.
