bcubed On this analysis we can still finish second even if we carry on producing our current form, as long as every team maintains their current form![]()
The run in 2009
That table shows Wolves finishing 7th.
Which would be nice.

SnowballSouthbank Old Boy It might be relevant but **cked if I'm bothering to read any more of his spamming like stats that dont add anything to a serious discussion on how the team are actually playing
But this site DOESN'T "discuss" anything.
Here is a typical "discussion".
Harper is sh!te.
Nah Harper is vital to the club.
No he's s!te, shoulda gon ta Boro
He's important yer blins g!t
he's a blind crab d!chead.
Go to line 1 and repeat.
Come on then, the lot of you. How many times since you have been in this forum has the DISCUSSION
persuaded you to change your opinion of a player or the team?

Snowball The reason I post stats is because of the idiotic posts on this list.
It is always MERE OPINION and posted as near-absolute certainty
If you read the threads on the Preston game as one example, you will see Shane praised and rubbished, Harps praised and rubbished, Lita praised and rubbished, Doyle praised and rubbished, what exactly is the POINT of all that crap?
It's just NOISE, chattering masses.
People come on here with pre-set opinions and 99% of them rigidly refuse to change them.
It's not DEBATE, it's a childish shouting match.
If half the lists says Lita Good, and the other half says Lita bad, too bloody right I will point out that in the last two seasons he has played 15 games and 7 more as sub, and scored 2 goals. BECAUSE THAT IS A FACT, NOT AN OPINION

Southbank Old Boy Football is not a game of absolutes, facts and stats though, it is a game of different views and opinions

That's dumb
It's a total, absolute fact that the side with the most points (best record may include GD) wins the league

I think you completely missed the point of his post there.
Yes the final table is a stats mans dream but the game itself - the thing that is played by 22 people is extremely subjective to the point where two people sat next to each other, with no prejudice to any player/team, can come up with totally different opinions on what they have watched.

Last week you were telling us that 87 points was a minimum for finishing 2nd. At least finally you have come around and understand the basic principles of the league table.
3rd + 1 point, it's all we need.

hughsies no.1 Snowball any chance you could do a thread about the amount of loops each player uses when lacing up their boots?
seriously though. im fed up with stats. this is a discussion board. stats to a certain extent are nice to look at but I tend to base my opinions on what I see week in week out! I like people coming back from games having various opinions on players, performances, tactics.
