P!ssed Off Does anyone know have any contact details for Samuelson and Obolensky?
I'd like to tell them to fuck off directly if possible...

Go to the stadium carpark by the directors parking spaces and wait. get there before 8.00am, can't guarantee which day but you will see Samuelson for sure.

Good luck in your quest.

why is Jonny Fordham still banging on about Reading :?: Was happy to sl8 the club and the town (got chased out of the AD one night when he came 'home' and hasn't been back to the town since) when he left for the big smoke but presumably the big cheeses have seen him for the small time bumpkin he is.

He's like the geezer who keeps writing cringey comments on his ex's facebook st8us, even though she's moved on.

kwik-silva Getting hung up on naming rights when he's so desperate to sell just doesn't make sense

Sure this was mentioned on Twitter yesterday, and Charlie Watts said naming rights had never been an issue. Issue apparently is these two wanting £40k a month for two years, and to remain as directors. More concerning is that no bids can supposedly get through without these two's approval.

Out of interest why would anyone involved in the parties interested in buying the club talk to Charles Watts before anything has been agreed? :|

Because the media is often used as a tool.

Watts has done well on this story in my view, OK he may have been fed a few lines but any information that has had any sort of authority seems to have come from him.

RoyalBlue Madejski IN deep trouble and dragging the club into it too!

So he'd better stop trying to get everyone out of it then? You'd rather he walked now and dropped everything?

In what way do you think what he is doing now is wrong?

blueroyals
paddy20 Hasn't the EP got an up to date Piccie of Teddy? Bit embarrassing to keep showing the one with his girlfriend now long gone! I worry that all this talk - as before - will culminate in nothing. If all these potential buyers are so keen whats the stumbling block?? Will we see this just peter out and we pay our tax bill with the sales of Macarthy and Le Fondre and we will be back to scraping a survival under the increasingly financially challenged Mt Mad?

Presumably you'd rather we sell to an asset stripper so we can keep Donkrebnyak for another year? Get real

Given that one of the reasons people on here liked AZ was he had Katsia, it is covered by the first of the three criteria of the FPP test

Exactly. Anything that has been 'leaked' to the press over the past few days has an agenda behind it.

Getting concerned CW is being fed misinformation over this.

I fail to see how 2 x directors can invoke a veto over the 2 x shareholders on any deal. They can recommend or not recommend but beyond that I believe their power is limited. They were appointed to act on TSI shareholders behalf for the good of the shareholder(s)

I suspect Boris would be none too happy if his appointed directors were upsetting any potential buyers with false stipulations.

(It is a possibility that they had a deal with TSI that they would have a 5 year contract (or whatever) and Boris is tying to force that cost onto the new owner by adding them in. ) Samuelson is also a player in the buy/sell market so if he was seen to be 'awkward' future dealings would be difficult for other clubs both buyers and sellers.

Either way the 2 directors will be sacrificed on the alter of a deal if and when necessary (if this was ever the case which as i say I have my own personal doubts) and I sense scapegoating is going on but for what reason I have no idea...

2 x directors representing 51% ownership though

It's all negotiation - CS and Oblong want their settlement figures. That is all

Getting concerned CW and JF know more about the takeover situation than the HNA? itk brigade. Thoughts are with the itkers at this difficult time.

kwik-silva Re the hold-up:
@wisdomdacosta Same as have been from the start - 40k a month to keep on two directors

Re 'Reading Royals' & Stop funding academy:
@thj0208 News to me. But re '#readingfc Royals' the club have been pushing just 'Royals' for a while now. They see it as the brand

But surely if those two force buyers away the club will go straight into Administration and they will be the first out of the door. That makes me think they are trying to get the best deal for themselves, sod the club, and will back down a bit during any negotiations. I doubt Sir John has any control over them if the weight of their votes is 51%.

But hasn't the 51% of shares been handed back to JM so he now holds 100% or was part of that hardback of shares completed on the understanding that the voting rights remained the same?

I've heard a whisper that the board are waiting for this thread to reach 300 pages before they make a decision - seems a bit of a weird thing to base such a decision on, but this come from a very reliable source!

Wow a lot of rumours from ITK merchants has turned into truths apparently.

Lets face it we don't know what the deal is and who is getting what out of it.

Two very rich people are interested in buying the club and are in progressive talks, that's all we actually know.

It's good times.
