...and Burman is supposed to be flying in this week, if that rumour is still true. And if the above news was revealed last week to Burman, that could have paved the way for him to pop on over.

Here's hoping.

Readingfanman So CS and AO don't take a wage anymore and arent employed by the club at all, but still own 51% of the club?

Have no idea what is going on! Presumably they've resigned (Although why they have done so considering their payouts is beyond me?), not quite sure where it leaves any takeovers, but by the sounds of it, nothing will be happening immediatley anyway, and we *should* be in safe hands. Even if we do have to sell players to keep going (Note how SJM hasn't stated the money is coming from his own pocket, funding can be funding from many different sources after all, and the most likely one realistically still has to be player sales).

51 % of a club worth a pound?

ive done some rudimentary calculations and have the answer!
their shares are worth 51 p

of course its not from his pocket, its from the sale of ALF and the season ticket renewals

Let's hope he's not pissed off that his team lost the IPL yesterday.

At the risk of  general sport it was a cracking match.

Whilst there's still a lot we don't know it has to be positive news to some degree or another that Anton and his Antonauts have left the board.

Maybe SJM has paid off the TSI lot * ie the fee that CS & AO wanted to remain on the board...as it was only a £million!...thus clearing the way for someone like Burman to now come in and make a bid without the need to have the two TSI clowns still around for 2 years as was the case last week...

* Using the money from the sale of ALF, the remainder of which has also covered the outstanding HMRC tax bill...

complete and constant openness is such a good business plan after all

What difference does it make letting us know who owns the club?

As it turns out, his latest bit of drivel hardly clears anything up. He may as well have written a big shaky question mark.

I like the idea of that statement.

I would say that saving £40k per month and not having those two in the boardroom is quite a big change and improvement.

I do love how a bit of openness from the club and the departure of said directors, the two things everyone was demanding, have rather than settle people down actually led to more extreme fvckwittery on here. Face it, none if you know anything, don't make yourselves look even stupider by posting and proving it.

LOL. I guess h8ers gonna h8

TSI have no influence at the club and the club is financially stable. Given the administration rumours and the speculation that TSI's ongoing involvement in the club is a stumbling block in takeover negotiations these are both pretty big news items.

But you carry on...

Leaving aside the doubts expressed in the previous posts, this must be a positive move.

If it is true that Burman, for instance, was stipulating major board changes then this surely clears the way for him to a large extent does it not?

He said TSI have left the board. He hasn't explained what that means in terms of influence.

The rest of his open and honest letter is entirely copied and pasted chairman bingo filler from the last time he opened his mouth.

I'm not sure what we are supposed to be celebrating here.
