How can you count Carlisle? They aren't even in the same league.

Technically it's correct to count all goals scored during the season (ignoring international ones), for a player's total, regardless of which club scored at. You might draw the line at non-league goals, but not sure. But the argument was Harte wouldn't score 10 for US iirc.

Utter nonsense. Harte has defended very well recently and whilst he gets beaten for pace or caught out of position every now and then the rest of the defence is covering for him far better now than it was when he was a little off form a while back.

And he's been an almost ever-present in the team taking us to 4th place
despite a poor 4-games at the start of the season when he wasn't yet signed by us.

Have to respect awards voted for by players but I think if the voting had been in the last few weeks Long would have got in.

Meanwhile back to the subject of Harte - I actually reckon he will finish pretty high up in our own Player of the Year voting. Maybe even third.
