I can't see Wet Sham dropping points at Brizzle, although Brizzle will obviously be fighting for their lives, so it's not a straightforward one for Wet Sham.

Like all true Reading fans, I am more concerned about whether we will oxf*rd it up by losing to Forest and Palace and taking it to the last game.

I'll gladly take 3 points on Tuesday night, but I suspect that we will have to delay the promotion party until Palace (which is my preferred option simply because I'll be able to go out into Reading afterwards and have a few bevvies without worrying about work the next day!).

The last 15 minutes on Tuesday could certainly be interesting though.

The recent run of results has gone some way to negating the age old oxf*rd it up on the big day(s) syndrome, which has plagued Reading for years. I have been following the club for decades and cannot recall such a turnaround in professionalism, determination and belief.

Fearful of a jinx, I won't say that it will be all plain sailing, but I am confident that the current set-up will triumph before the end of the season. That said: as a competing team, I certainly wouldn't want to meet Reading in the play offs either.

If we lose to Forest and Palace we won't go up.

Went 2-0 up v Brum yesterday (albeit pulled back to 2-2). At home, backed by some passionate support, I could see them getting at least a point off WHU.

The police may be lined up to prevent that sort of thing.

It could be 1 one 1 the way the Police are going to react.

Just checked out Forest and Palaces form over last 6 and neither are pulling up trees exactly:

Forest W2 D3 L1
Palace W0 D2 L4

I am more worried by potential injurys starting to mount up - we could be without Roberts and Tabb on Tues as well as the players already missing from Fri.

From what I heard on here about the police presence in Reading on Friday night, I can believe that. I truly hope nothing like that is repeated. Doubtless, there will always be one or two who consume a few too many beverages, but we don't exactly have a reputation for being a bunch of drunk and disorderly football hooligans, and christ, if we had just won the league/got promoted, why would anyone be looking for aggro?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Wham asked for the kick off for their game at Bristol be delayed by 15 mins in order not to give us an advantage; and frankly, I wouldn't blame them either.

They may ask for it, but I can't see that happening.

I think they'll be more worried about what Saints are doing that us. We would just be a bonus at this stage.

And our last 7 Homes Snowball?

What was the away record for the previous 7 games of the last visitors to the Madejski?

Its the Championship so of course there's a chance that Forest could win. But as you're so reliant on stats it seems daft that you'd worry about theirs and seemingly ignore ours.

So why worry based on the stats. They're massively in our favour.

Not "worried'.

The odds on EITHER we win or WHU/Saints drop points are MASSIVELY in our favour.

Doesn't mean I can't be aware that Forest have turned the corner and are playing well ATM

They have conceded just 6 goals in their last 8 games.
