In for this. My gf lived and worked in Brighton for six years, and moved up to Brum in February, so we're planning a trip down to see her old friends over the weekend.

It was the same on BT Sport too

Weird

Yes , that's because BT Sport goes over to the same transmission as ITV for the draw.

Brighton have announced their prices with typical sanctimony:

http://www.seagulls.co.uk/news/article/ ... 27354.aspx

No price details yet on Readingfc.co.uk, but given that we will be in the South Stand I can only assume it will be an Ayrton Senna for us too. Noted RFC slow in relaying the news, this can only be blamed on AZ being out of the country :!:

IN for:

- Fish n Chips.
- Tin foil FA Cup.
- 'Adkins Out' scrawled on a bed sheet in my own faeces.

Brum Royal - given your Avatar, shouldn't your location be Bourton on the Water?

Definitely in based on 10 squid a ticket!

Hopefully we will take at least 1000 down there, based on it being Saturday 3pm, not far away and not on sky or anything.

I'd expect double that, given that it's cheap tickets and the first Saturday visit to Falmer for Reading.

Hope you're right.

Also hope there's a clear away pub - even if it's in the centre as I realise the ground is a bit out of town.

Are people from Reading going:

Reading -> Gatwick
Gatwick-> Brighton

Is that the best way, and what's the cheapest method as I always seem to miss the good deals.

Edit: Considering getting the 0934 train, change at Gatwick and arrive at Brighton at 1147 giving time to get down the wetherspoons for curry + shit loads more beer

This exact train we'll be on. 4 person group save means a £15.75 return, beers on the train, before and after the game, get the 19.07 back :D

£1.65 return to Falmer then, easy 8)

Reading to Gatwick, Gatwick to Lewes, Lewes to Falmer. Avoid Brighton altogether.

Do none of you have a car? Cheaper to drive.
Last time we went to the Amex we went to the stadium to see if they had away parking. They just waved us in to their car park. Didn't pay. No fine after the game or anything.
Very :?
