Brogue I don’t mind any of them

This. I've never understood the hatred for any of them. You want to try listening to other local radio stations.

Snowflake Royal I didn’t really understand criticisms about creativity for Exeter.

Ehibhatiomhan put a decent headed chance wide
Savage blazed over twice when he probably should have scored and definitely forced a save
Azeez had a 1v1 he put wide
Knibbs scored.

That's 5 good chances.

Now at the other end Button made some great stops, so even if we'd buried ours I think Exter could have felt aggreived at losing.

We're creating more chances as we should be playing at a lower level. Our problem is that the forwards are too lightweight/naive to take them. We're 2 strikers short if Carroll leaves as WiFi and Smith are the only strikers shown to be up to it for the league. Tuma should get cup matches.

We won't see our results improve unless we strengthen up front

Oh get lost you moaning minnie

It's sad to see on twitter that people are now explicitly messaging Tim Dellor saying things like "step down" or give it up etc

It's completely unnecessary and actually quite hateful.

I could understand if he's been offensive, abusive etc but he's not.

Out of the three the one that drives me most insane is Ady Williams. His ridiculously overly engineered questions are tiresome. They're the sort that a child would ask.

The worst one was about 4 seasons ago:

"Now here's a thought for you. If Reading win their next three games they'll be 3rd. Ok? Third in the league. However. Listen to this. If they lose those three games they'll drop to 19th. What's your thoughts on this?"

Oh and btw I seem to recall that people were also very abusive and hateful to Jonathan Low when he first started reporting too.

Football fans aren’t known for their humility or intellect.

Had a nice weekend in Exeter, bus trips and boat rides, saw a seal, sat in the quayside for a bit, lovely.

Football, better than Port Vale, still not great. It feels like side could push on, win a few as they gain experience, but there's a non-zero chance they crumble as games come thick and fast. Vickers and Carson looked like kids, tbh, I'm not sure we can rely on them all season. They're good, but they really are inexperienced. If that puzzle gets sorted, we will do alright.

Could have held on for a solid point, but defence parted like Red Sea for their winner.

Yeah the break that led to the chance was quite fun* watching Dean lose the ball in the air and then just shrug at Abbey like "I know it should be my chase back, but I need a hip replacement so on your bike son", then just looked around having no clue where he should be or who he should cover instead.

NathStPaul Really like Mick, met him a number of times and he's a lovely bloke.

Exactly. Anyone who knows him knows he's a likeable chap, well respected in the local area.

And lol @ the suggestion that "listen" at the beginning of a sentence is always aggressive. In his case it's just how he talks.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s actually the most superficial amount of media training - get into the habit of saying a holding word - ‘listen’, ‘look’, ‘well’ - whilst organising your thoughts into some semblance of coherence, rather than a long ‘errr’ like many of us might do.
