Bright start, nice goal, couple more chances squandered, then 35 minutes of pnderous nothing football. Having said that, Scunny were always kept at arms length and never looked like scoring.

2nd half they were better, Reading were ok, should have scored a couple of goals, didn't, then the obvious equaliser, and then lucky not to lose.

I heard the interview, to be honest I fully supported Tim Dellor's stance on it...I just felt he chose the wrong game! Scunthorpe were a poor side who may have made Reading look better than they were, but i still felt Reading were in control of the game, apart from the last 10minutes where they managed to lose a goal and almost incredibly managed to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory.

Rodgers is an arrogant, clueless terrible manager who has deserved every bit of stick thrown at him. If Dellor had said that on Tuesday I would have understanded it fully but I felt Reading deserved to win today, they deserved sod all Tuesday.

Rodgers same old boring interviews filled with his awful soundbites, false reviews of the situation in hand had deserved some backlash, and just like before when he's opened his mouth to the press, he's shown no class, no decorum and no respect. A man under pressure.

Reading are 4th from bottom. Don't score enough goals, will always concede and are going to be in the bottom 6 teams this season. No cycles, no models, no right DNA. Honest assesment of the situation.

Can't agree with that, cisse played well today. Won his tackles and broke up play well, played the simple ball most of the time. The midfield was good today, marek, sig( apart from his terrible finishing) and cisse had good synergy. Its a shame that its all irrelevant as football is about scoring goals and keeping clean sheets. We can't do either.

It is very dangerous being a side that plays well but doesnt win, just ask Southampton

Rodgers needs to fix that, and I dont think Long, Church or any of the forwards currently at the club are going to fix it. The new lad we will have in Jan might be good enough, but i hope we bring in a winger capable of scoring consistently too, otherwise we are still taking a gamble on the forwards providing enough goals

I thought we played alright today, not great, but more than well enough to beat a pretty poor Scunthorpe side. I dont think they looked much worst, if at all, than Blackpool or Leicester though, and look where they are in the leage. Fact remains, this league is much of a muchness from 4th to 24th and we cant expect to beat everyone just because we had a good side 2 and half years ago!!!

We have to win games like today though or we wont pull away from the danger area
