brendywendy its 35 pages, cos we hate you, hate colin, and would find it hilarious if the one time you managed to get yourselves together enough to go up, you cock it up due to the same financial iregularities that colin moaned about at sheffield united. would be literally the funniest thing ive ever seen in football. even funnier than cantonas kung fu kick.
its 35 pages because the tiny chance it has of coming true is enough to keep us chortling until the day of the verdict.
if it doesnt happen, meh, im sure well cope.

Desperation.

not desperate at all.
it barely registers above my apathy level.
im just saying id find it funny if it happened.
like if someone trip up in the street. you dont spend you time thinking about it, or wishing it would happen. but when you see it, it makes you laugh.

like i said, its mostly for colins benefit rather than some ridiculous hoop based h8red of QPR

There is a certain irony in Warnock being on the other side of the argument this time. I do recall him being apoplectic about West Ham and Tevez when Sheff Utd sued for damages. Which of us will sue QPR this time?

Tredder I think the key word to all this thread is

Desperate

Enjoy the play offs and hopefully we'll see you next season in the prem, how to make a story seem more attractive, spice it up with attention seeking headlines, if you seriously think the FA would deduct points one game before the end of the season, then even the FA are more facical than i give them credit for, most of this is lazy journalism.

If, IF, we are found guilty on any of the charges, then we will accept the consequences, but this will be a fine, we are not saying, ok chuck us a fine and we'll pay it.

It's teams like Reading and Cardiff that seem to be having a wank over this more than any other team, i presume, because neither wants to get dicked by Swansea.

Enjoy the play offs and hopefully we'll see you next season in the prem, 6 points again would be nice.

enjoying the Warnock irony more than anything tbh.

I think there's very little chance of Swansea dicking anyone at the moment, let alone us over two legs

Swansea are the team i fear the most in the playoffs tbh. Most impressive side i've seen this season (seen them a few times), produce their best against Top 6 sides, and our record against them is worse than anyone else we could meet in the playoffs (excluding QPR).

Plus I can see a Cardiff-Swansea final..

Oh I'd expect them to beat us, though they're on relatively poor form at the moment. They just wouldn't dick us.

brendywendy its 35 pages, cos we hate you a little,& hate colin alot. its a perfect h8 storm.
i would find it hilarious if the one time you managed to get yourselves together enough to go up in 15 years, you cock it up due to the same financial irregularities that colin moaned about at sheffield united. it would be quite literally the funniest thing ive ever seen in football. even funnier than cantonas kung fu kick.

but if it doesnt happen, meh, im sure well cope.

Why such fear of Swansea?

In the home game we had 51% possession (surprises me since Swansea have a lot of tippy-tappy possession)
and we had more shots (9 to their 7) 3-5 on target. We were done by a good goal from Swansea's POV
but I thought our defence dealt poorly with Sinclair's break from midfield.

In the away game we only had 45% possession, and though the stats say they had 11 shots on target,
if my memory serves me right most were the same kind of shot, a half opening about 18-20 yards out
and shots that were fairly comfortable for Federici.

Church also missed an absolute sitter two yards out after Long headed down to him
and missed a more difficult, but clear heading chance.

They are clearly NOT as good as back then, on a poor run of form, crap away from home.

We are on a fantastic run of form. We had two single-goal defeats in FEBRUARY, a late-ish goal by QPR
and a 94th minute goal at Norwich where we played with ten men for 39 minutes and conceded in the 94th minute.

ALL FOUR DEFEATS WERE WITHOUT L-WOOD PLAYING. WITH HIM PLAYING WE REMAIN UNDEFEATED IN THE LEAGUE.

If they are found guilty on the more serious charges, esp the falsifying records

I think the punishment will be relegation from the Championship

and maybe, on appeal, they get reinstated to the Championship.

Indeed. If they are found guilty of falsifying records, supplying false information etc. then there is no way they will be playing in the PL next season. They could try any appeal process they like from then until kingdom come but it wouldn't make any difference.

Yes I agree. I would be very surprised if this is just a fine. If a fine was the likely outcome the FA could have left the hearing until after the end of the season. I expect a hefty points deduction.

If it helps .... there is a candle burning in Durham Cathedral with a prayer asking for a punitive points deduction for QPR and no right of appeal.

Dunno if this is relevant, but Torquay got docked 1 point for fielding an unregistered player in 1 game. Hereford were stopped 3. There was also a £10K fine for Torquay. I know that unregistered is not the same as ineligible, but it's not a million miles away. How many games has Faurlin played?

The FA don't have it in them.

Big fine and that'll be all.

He played in most their games pre-Xmas until his contract was sorted in January.

And Torquay and Bradford had points deducted for simply getting their paperwork right, but late.

Isn't it more about ownership dodginess and covering it up?

I'm not sure it's quite the same thing... which is what the FA'll probably use to justify no points deduction.
