domo A mate of mine who runs a lower league club said the reason no one wants him (apparently he has always been available as they knew he wouldnt sign a new contract:no idea as to the reasons) is he lacks the ability to listen and learn plus he wants to go back. He also wants a lot of money per week which also is a stumblng block..my personal view is he is very similar to Michael Gilkes..the differnece being we are now a championship team and Gilkesy was in a Div 1 (2) team..at this level he isnt good enough and when combined with a lack of interest in playing for the team he doesnt achieve much
Let him be a sub until Jan and then let him go home..
grey_squirrel This is all irrelevant.
Kebe will be gone in January or at worst the end of the season.
And in a year or two he will be completely forgotten about.
A poor man's Michael Gilkes.
McD would be wise to count him out right now.
manny96 I don't have a problem with him running his contract down. His duty is to the contract he's signed, not to sign a new one so the club can make a load of money. I don't think we'd get that much for him anyway and having a player of his quality (at times) would better in the run in. If he helped us get promotion, it'd be worth the money and more than we would've got in January. Maybe start bringing Obita in later in the season too.
