Angry Shed Sex
Ian Royal Weaker performances against weaker opposition including dropping some points against one of them.

Well then bring on Brighton - we should absolutely smash them.

Oh dear. 1 point from 2 games where I suspect most of us were hoping we would get 6
Got to beat Brighton now

It's "over six games" and we have WWDL with two games to go, Brighton, Huddersfield.

W & D would mean 11 points from 6, so, though today was disappointing, the six game haul is still on.

The trend isn't great.
Comfortable win -> narrow win -> draw -> contrive to lose from a winning position -> ?

I was disappointed with the result yesterday but not really surprised. We've hardly been dominating games recently (apart from Ipswich) so were always vulnerable to a team that took their chances.

I'm expecting us to hoover around the play off places for the next few months then maybe put in a reasonable challenge for second going into the end of the season. I doubt we'll make it but should be in good form going into the play-offs.

Top of the 'buy' list next summer has to be either a top quality left back, a centre-back who's good enough to cover or a proper defensive midfielder.

Fingers crossed for a win tomorrow to rescue my credibility (lolz) and at least pick up the right number of points, if fail with virtually every individual score and result.

We also haven't got it yet, it could 8 from 6, which is distinctly ropey.

Edit: 9 isn't exactly great.

Interesting that 1.5 ppg is suddenly not enough (a 69 Point Season)

Incidentally this is our last FIFTEEN league games, just two defeats

According to the table we have played 15 games and have 24 points, well done on finding 3 extra.

And would of course bring us down to 1.6 ppg and 73 or 74 points - which is close to the play-offs usually - probably about 7th - where, of course, we are now.

Cardiff game is looking pretty big now, a win and we could move back in the top 6 - draw and lose and we could lose more ground and drop to 9th. 4 games without a win is probably about as long a gap as you can comfortably accomodate with at least a play-off push in mind.
