We're seeing once again how we can't really make 4-4-2 work and need three in midfield. The front four are too lightweight and Fernandez and Norwood too similar to be an effective pair as there's rarely anyone for them to make a good forward pass to nearby.

John better than last time ge started. Blackman wasted at right wing.

Much as I hate to agree with IR, I do agree that 442 doesnt work and we get dicked in midfield. We need to play 3, we did against Huddersfield in the second half and dominated. Especially bad given that the 2 midfielders aren't defensive midfielders.
