tidus_mi2 It does seem we're still flying under the radar a bit, just looked at the promotion odds and we're down as 9th favourites right now, still take my guilty pleasure of going on to NSC and they don't really talk about us when they discuss threats to second place.
I would be lying if I said I thought we'd get promoted, I'd be delighted if we maintain a play-off position but it's a bit odd we don't seem to be perceived as a serious threat despite being up in third consistently the past few weeks.

Stranded Not even looking at the top 2. It's beginning to look a lot like the 106 season where by the top 2 are just much better than the rest and Sheff Utd were a good 11 points clear in 2nd by the end.
Newcastle and Brighton just seem to keep winning games. Closing that gap would be a real bonus.

Showing the gap a little clearer, he's the league table but giving points accumulated over time.
Two clear breakaways at the top, and one at the bottom.
The Fulham and Leeds losses have hindered us making it 3 running away... we looked to be opening a pretty nice gap ourselves until then.

Funnily enough that's more or less the final top 6 (not in order) I was predicting last month to my gambling addicted security guard. Swap out Villa for Birmingham and it would be spot on.
Also told him Brighton will only go up if they finish top 2 as history has shown over the last 3 seasons they don't love playoffs..

Another reason that makes Brighton and Reading completely interchangeable as clubs.

mumbo-jumbo I think a point was probably realistic last night. Couldn't see us winning. Couldn't see us. Should have been abandoned earlier, as many have said before.
Anyway, with Huddersfied and Sheffield Wed playing ''easier'' games today, it looks like we may drop to 5th today, which made me wonder - is it easier to chase or be chased, hunter or hunted? What is more motivating from a sports psychology point of view?

From Despair To Where? ...and Wednesday are losing.
I'm more and more convinced that we are going up this season, if only for the fact that since I started supporting, we've always got relegated I'm a year ending in 8.
