It’s getting worse still, plenty of action for Brum, plenty busy in the Reading area. Cr@p all of any note from Reading. So definitely the standard home dross still.

Think this is a really good first half performance for PInce to see.

Some quality early on. Better from us generally. But all the weaknesses still cropping up on display without actually being punished.

Not a bad first half for us all things considered. We've had a spell, they've had a spell, we've looked decent at times, unsure at other times but overall, not a bad 45 minutes. Just lacking that quality in the final third.

With Barnsley going 2-0 up at Hull, 3 points would be vital for ourselves now and it will have Hull looking over their shoulders as well.

Birmingham starting to dominate the last ten minutes. Let’s hope the half time team talks are better under this lot than the last lot where they were ordered not to run around or leave their own half.

Much better than what I witnessed at Pboro…not hard though!

Has a 1-0 written over it although could be either way.

McIntyre has been a real positive. But Holmes is being bullied & is clearly knackered. Morrison is also looking more & more like McShane in regards to his decline. Worried with the centre backs.

Birmingham aren’t up to much really are they…no idea why Taylor is rated so highly

It really isn’t about performances atm. It’s about results. The longer this stays 0-0 the more chance I think we have of nicking the winner. A fresh yak running at their full backs for the last 30 mins I think will make the difference.

....at least we've had a bit of a go this half - a bit of better quality/luck in the final third may see us win this one!

Sutekh Anyone got a clue just how you watch Red button games on the sky sports app?

You don't - at least not on the Xbox app.

Bit harsh on Holmes, think he's done alright so far, won a few headers, made a couple of errors. I like how the defence have been so positive so far though, a real attempt to win the ball first, making the first contact, it's been pleasing, particularly McIntyre.

I worry about our back 5. We look reasonably dangerous on the break, just need to find that perfect ball. Still think 1-0 Ince is happening.

To give Holmes some credit he did pretty well in the second half but since Dann’s injury we have been very vulnerable from crosses. Hopefully Dann is back for the Blackpool game although I suspect that’s optimistic. Important TMac got minutes yesterday as he is likely to start on Tuesday night. He needs to stay fit.

We will soon find out what the injury issues are with Ejaria. High time the club clarified what’s going on there.

I still don't know what's up with Ejaria, but do we miss him? Very much slows down play and has been poor. Certainly when trying to break down defences as we saw at Bristol would have been useful with close tight play, but Hoilett has been decent...and gives us width and pace. I'm happier with him.

Since Ejaria joined the club, we’ve consistently got more points and had better margins when he has been in the side. This season he is associated with the best “points average” of any player in the squad, joint with Meite.

I think he is getting a sort of reverse Popa effect while he is out of the team. People are forgetting how much better he is than the likes of TDB and Hoilett. I rate them both, but Ejaria is better.

Equally importantly Swift seems to play a whole lot better with Ejaria in the side.
