Cortese has a say in who goes and who comes in, that's one of the problems Adkins had with him; so he wont be squirming at all. There doesn't seem to be anyone else prepared/able to take on his 20k a week wages.

Have a feeling that if Sharp is going anywhere, it will play out from this weekend onwards, when the 93 day (?) Emergency Loan means he will be available Christmas/New Year fixtures. This would also presumably make it easier to extend the loan or turn it into a permanent deal.
