windermere_royal No sign of Sassy again today, do our new owners actually attend games?.
on another note wouldn`t it be nice to see some goal celebrations from the directors box?

I have it on very reliable authority that SJM and a guest shared a high five when Reading got the 3rd to equalise

Ian Royal
Royal Lady So, basically, the Thai's are not the great saviours.....yet. I'm erring on the side of caution here again I'm afraid - time will tell though and I do hope they will be able to help us to improve the team and push on.

The question was have they done anything positive. That statement and being 'great saviours' are entirely different things. No one has said they are great saviours.

Although their involvement has stopped the club going deeper into financial trouble and probably administration / selling off all our decent players.

Nothing "probable" about the administration thing - we were 48 hours from it.

Has anyone in authority actually acknowledged that?

So, basically, carpets, knock-off branded casual and sporting gear and, above all, tuna saved RFC, the fourth oldest footy club in the world, from extinction. Nice. I like that.

Fourth?

County... Stoke... Wrexham... Forest?

Didn't realise Fawaz did all that.

If Welsh teams don't count, Wednesday then? Thought their takeover went to shit.

Unless I have missed something, have these l8est set of jokers issued any sort of mission st8ment as to their aims and ambitions for the club and who the hell they actually are, other than a Thai Hyacinth Bucket coming out and saying that they bought the club because Reading is such a lovely town, an alarming statement in itself.

Can't say that I have any faith in them
(a) generally
(b) to take action as may be necessary with a badly managed, leaderless team on a drastic run of appalling form.

Nope, it's been quieter than a Reading defender's communication skills.

Yes - she reminds me of Rory and Tony Underwood's mother making strange movements after her son scored a try at Twickers.

getreading.co.uk has photos of them at the Bournemouth game, apparently before and after they left early shots.

Believe they were only Thai representatives, not Sasima and the other lot who's names shall always escape me.

How many Thai owners and representatives do we have? - It's a bit blazin squad if you ask me..... surely a chance for anyone who looks Thai to go round Reading claiming to be an owner and running up a big bill in the local establishments

JIM Can anyone say the new owners have done anything positive for the club since they arrived ?and please dont say its too early, as they have had 4 months to make an impact. :?: :?: :?:

Cleared our debts and allowed us to sign Murray, Cox & Norwood. You know, those players who are having fairly big impacts on the pitch for us (3 assists and 7 out of our 14 league goals between them). And helped sign Mackie*.

*and Ferdinand

and how would you say things are going now :?: murray cox and norwood no longer in the team?

Are you able to compare the recent impact of Jamie Mackie and Chalobah to the impact of Cox and Norwood earlier in the season ?

It does seem a long time ago when Norwood first joined and was just pinging amazing balls around the pitch like it was no big deal. Now he doesn't even beat the first man on a set piece.
