Baird out injured apparently. His old girls has just tweeted that her mum has taken a fall and that's both her mum and hubby injured.

---------------------------------- McCarthy ----------------------------------

Gunter --------------- Gorkss ------------- Pearce ------------------- Kelly

--------------------- Williams --------------- Guthrie ----------------------

------ McCleary ------------- Robson-Kanu -------------- Obita -----------

-------------------------------- Pogrebnyak ---------------------------------

I don't like the formation, it doesn't work for us (yet), but we need to get used to it as 4-4-2 seems to be very out-dated now and easy to expose.

Baird being injured isn't a massive blow imo, been well off the pace in the last few games.

^ Unlike the rest of the team who have been firing on all cylinders, I suppose?

sp8 of never-ending injuries and no loans were brought in. Anyone still dare to think that all is well with TSI's ownership of the club?

The injuries this season are a joke, I agree. It would certainly seem to be more than just bad luck.

It all hinges on Baird's availability. Does anyone know if he is injured?

Lopsided 4-4-2 with jobi tucking into central midfield and alf sharp or hrk partnering pog and drifting out to left.wing.

McCarthy
Gunter
Kelly
Pearce
Morrison - gorkss
McCleary
Guthrie
Williams
Jobi
Pog
Alf

Anything but 442. We have looked terrible with it this season and playing Alfie is just a waste of a player. Anyone who listened to TTE podcast, pretty much agree with them. 451/433 is the way forward.

Either this:

or this:

Royston in for McAnuff/Obita if available. Maybe even start Blackman ahead of Obita.

If Baird is croaked our highest worry should be CB cover. We're looking to the youth. Anyone know how far off Legs supposedly is? I know he played 45 minutes for the U21s.

I don't pretend to be ITK or anything, but I'm hearing that Baird may be injured.

It's easier to make a formation from looking at our injured/recently injured players:

McCarthy
Cummings- Morrison - Baird - Bridge
Karacan Leigertwood
Robson-Kanu - Williams - Drenthe
Roberts

Bench:
McCleary, McAnuff, Sharp

Over half of them have been pretty long term.

That's a bloody good Championship team.

super darren caskey No Royston then?

Drenthe will never play for the club again, likewise Jason Roberts.

Tonight i'd like to see McAnuff in the side and Obita not in the side.
