Hound Haven't Millwall got 4 of the top 6 in their last 6 games? Going to be my second favourite team this month

Please wash your mouth out with soap Houndy.

Actually just looked - their next 3 are Swansea, Brentford and Bournemouth. If they take points off that lot you'll be a fan as well Zippy

Well yes I suppose so.

I don’t that’s so bad as three of those teams have little to play for.

Preston are cack and Cardiff are well down on form.

That Bournemouth game could be interesting for us though

Preston have drawn with Norwich and beaten Swansea since they got rid of Alex Neil, so might give them a game.

Yep, Preston are having a bit of a new manager (or not the same manager) bounce at the moment. They are a decent team, who will want to finish strongly to try and gain momentum.

Would be very surprised to see them drop points to Cardiff but Brentfords 4 draws have been against the sides currently in 15th, 18th, 19th and 21st so who knows. So by the time they travel to Bournemouth on the 24th, there could well be a cluster of clubs around 70 to 72 points.

It's beginning to look like we could end up with 5 clubs around the 75-78 point mark come season end - could easily come down to GD, so the fact ours is better than Barnsley and only one off Swansea (with them to play) could be vital.

No. Don’t be ridiculous Pepe.

Win 0-2 at Watford, who then fall apart along with Brentford, Swansea, Bournemouth.

Barnsley do enough to get third, a point behind Reading....

Brentford's fall away since the game against us has been quite something tbh. 25 games unbeaten or whatever it was and then only 13 points from their last 10

Would argue that game took a lot out of both teams - a high pressurised energetic game - especially in a week where it was a rearranged fixture (and hence only one of a few that took place)

Not sure it's a coincidence that Brentford's form fell dramatically after that, and we only got 3 points from 12 after that, which included weaker opposition

Even including the win against us, over the last 12 they are "only" W4 D4 L4 - we are W5 D3 L4 in the same run. They have only lost once in the last 8 mind.

Absolutely no doubt that that match took a lot out of both sides and we seem to have recovered a bit better - was a little surprised given the negativity that over an 8 game run we are the 5th best in the division - unfortunately Barnsley and Bournemouth are 3rd and 4th.

windermereROYAL Waiting for the Norwich are the best team the championship has ever seen statements in the next few weeks.

Yep it'll surely come and will be totally baseless.

No comparison with an unsung team built from nothing with some ex non league players and some picked up for £75k or nothing and setting an unbeaten points record, securing promotion in March! But at least we know how good we were.

Yep, when you look back on our form over 6,8, 10 games, we're around about where we are in the table for the whole season. Bar the slump after the initial burst of wins, we've been roughly about there all season

Yep, if you take out the first 8 games of the season out we are still 10th, 5pts off the play-offs. If you take the season from after losing to Bournemouth, we are 7th only on GD.

But imagine the JOY.

Not the joy of us getting automatic, but the joy of seeing Brentford, Watford, Bournemouth, Swansea floundering behind Barnsley.

And if Millwall were to win their last six and push another one out of the POs, I really WOULD have that hernia.

I can see the appeal of having teams who aren't running on parachute payments or spunking 80k wages on Ayew fighting promotion instead, not that we've been much better over recent years.

If they take points off them all they might make themselves an outside bet for the POs!

The beauty of the EFL is it always produces some classic bottler teams. Queueing up this season by the looks of it.

The good news is we don't often bottle getting into the POs...

Adkins springs to mind... other than that McDermott was a long shot, and I think Coppell's two were more failed pushes than bottle jobs where we fell out.

And more often than not, if we make it in we make it to Wembley.

Where we lose. Always.

To be fair we don’t always lose at Wembley

Sometimes we lose at the Millenium Stadium.....
