Remembering Eamonn Dolan

by Mtoto » 17 Jun 2023 13:59

Hello Reading fans, hope the mods won’t mind me signing up to post this.

Eamonn Dolan was my beloved brother-in-law, taken from his family & friends and also the job he loved and did so brilliantly as Reading’s Academy manager at the age of just 48, on 20 June 2016.

Tomorrow, I’m cycling from London to Brighton with my daughter, to raise money to fund research into new treatments, and perhaps even a cure, for bladder cancer. Any donations to support our efforts – and believe me, it will be a right old effort to get up Ditchling Beacon – would be hugely appreciated, and our JustGiving page is here:

I’ll be in my Brighton shirt tomorrow but I still keep a close eye on Reading too and was gutted to see you drop out of the Championship, especially given the circumstances. Very much hope you’ll be back up in 12 months’ time!
