As Sutekh has started this thread it only feels right to say:

Would prefer General Patton

Or even Knitting Patton

Not fussed.
Only Sean Patton I found, through Google, was a lesser known comedian.
Sounds about right!

Looks like he was only on loan at Finn Harps, contracted to Derry City.

Let's hope he's the new Doyle or Long!

We'll see how he does for the U21s.

No goals in 313 minutes in the League of Ireland Premier Division and one in 875 minutes in the League of Ireland First Division is a bit concerning, but he only turned nineteen a couple of months ago and Kevin Doyle didn't start scoring in the League of Ireland until he was a similar age (the league is stronger now too).

Good luck to him.

Very unusual that we pay a fee for an U21 player and so we must think he has potential.

Hey Brogue do you know what size of fee is involved?

Googled a couple of articles that suggests he’s quite rated. He looks very Irish

What happened to the razzmatazz that now accompanies any of our signings?
The Irish influence at our club is getting bigger and bigger from the manager to his main agent to the players.

Let's hope that at least one of them gets somewhere near being up to the level of Doyle or Long rather than McShane or O'Shea.

I think generally it’s normal for there to be some sort of nominal fee when players move between academies.

Can’t imagine it’s more than five figures (plus a sell-on clause).
