I'm hoping 'Jose' will put something in the programme aimed at anybody that may be thinking along those lines. A lifetime ban and a long prison sentence would be in order for anybody who gets on to the pitch. At the same time I would hope ALL eleven of our players would give any would-be assasin a bloody good kicking before old bill gets there.

Reading both this and the other news article today just proves what a great club we are and goes further to prove, if proof were needed, what a shabby club under Jose, Chelsea are.

This has been posted on a Beeb board:

To all fans of Reading...

I wish to apologise on behalf of all Chelsea fans, and all football fans, for the actions of a few idiots. Death threats are never acceptable, and I profoundly hope you do not hold this against the overwhelming majority of Chelsea fans, who deplore this ridiculous and cowardly action.

Furthermore, I'd like to congratulate you on a spectacular first season in the Premiership, and wish you all the best...I'd say I'd like to meet you in Europe, but I'm hoping we stay in the CL next season...the UEFA Cup is all yours, as far as I'm concerned.

Again, to your fans, your players, your coaches and staff...this is not what Chelsea FC is or should be about. No true CFC fan would condone such actions, and I hope all true CFC fans work to root these morons out.

Regards,

It is slightly refreshing to see that some (probably the majority of) Chelsea fans have a sense of reality and are not complete mindless morons like we are led to believe.

Only a few more days and we'll hopefully never have to read/hear about it again.

So am I.

I can imagine the Sky presentation of this match.

The opening sequence would be the keepers' injuries and the ambulance and jose's rant.

Played over this tune...

Frankie goes to Hollywood's Two Tribes.

BBC Gossip Reading defender Ibrahima Sonko fears being attacked at Chelsea by the maniacs who threatened to kill him.

This is entirely possible, which is scary not only for us as supporters, Moroninho NEEDS to do something on Tuesday to calm the situation, and I agree that the FA couldn't make a good decision even if it slapped them in the face

It would seem from the Johnson incident that Chelski and Moronho fear lawyers and writs far more than the FA. Still think the club missed a trick in not firing an early legal warning shot across their bows when the whole thing started.

I never knew there was more than the one death threat? I'm now worrying for our players sake. If he say, tries to make a clearance near the by-line, and momentum takes him into the crowd?

All cause of that twiat Jose. I had all sorts of respect for him, before this season for reasons of my own. Now that's gone, well done Jose.

As mentioned the FA aren't exactly helping are they... It's not helping anything.

They were never the greatest role model club before Jose, granted. But their lack of class has been highlighted from top to bottom by their complete and utter contempt for the F.A. led by 'the special one'

Living where I do, I have many Chelsea supporting friends and live in a heavily Chelsea supported area, but they are somewhat emmbaressed by the antics of this buffon.

I feel the real problem has got deeper and deeper into the club and whatever Jose says goes. We have a lot of buffon managers at clubs up and down the country that make silly statements in the heat of battle, but when all is said and done they either apologise or their club apologises on their behalf. If the club do not agree they just stay silent.

With Chelsea, this is just not the case, whatever Jose says the club stick behind him. Rest assured what goes around eventually comes around... Chelsea will ultimately get what they deserve and many a fan will be celebrating.
