The Charlton game.

Though i'm not sure he'd get into the team after our last performance.

The club should make sure he's 110% fit and bring him back slowly, not rush him back to fill a void because they've ended up selling and/or not strengthening sufficiently. We've been through this before, we have to let players get match fit as much as possible before throwing them back into the side or we'll never get the best out of them.

Theres no point in bringing him back for the charlton game. The team looked good against Plymouth and Charlton have lost their opening 2 games

I just hope we dont rush him back and possibly make the injury worse. Cisse and Harper will do a job so there is no need to rush him back. I would like to tthink that Karacan would be used to add a bit more attacking threat to our game as both Cisse and Harper are more defensive players but there is no chance of that happening with Coppell at the helm.

Harper offers little defensively, he's more of an attacking player than a defensive one (regardless of whether he crosses the halfway line). See: Andrea Pirlo, Xabi Alonso.

LOL at comparing Harper to Pirlo.

He's about as defensive as Pirlo, which was my point.

LOL at thinking I was talking about ability

So he's an attacking player that doesn't cross the halfway line, only plays the ball across or back, but he can't tackle..

Last report I saw from the club (& local media) yesterday was 6-8 weeks so I would be amazed if he was back on Saturday.

saw him make a few tackles on saturday
remember at least one defence splitting pass through to lita vs man city that was definately forwards
and im sure he scored a blinder Vs liverpool which demonstrated him crossing the half way line

but dont let the facts get in the way of your irrational dislike of the player

Agreed
I doubt he will be involved in the game against charlton but they may give him a run in the luton game
He talked about being able to walk properly in the interview but there was no mention of training
Don't think he will be risked until he has been training for a while

Agreed. Ease him in slowly. The midfield looks pretty ok at the mo so maybe a place on the bench and 15 minutes against Charlton, but take our time with him. He's a key key player, we need that boy fit.
