Oh no - I was right, and the half wits who couldn't tell that are still posting on here to show their shallowness!

Forbury LionFirst two points could also apply to BBC Berks presenters, in fact the third could be linked to ratings.Schards#2 - players are paid too much
- the players have a duty to make each game as entertaining as possible
- players should only be paid if they win
- draws should be decided by shoot outs from the half way line

With resepct, if you didn't hear it you're not really qualified to give an opinion.Ian Royal BBCRB always used to be pretty good IMO, didn't hear it but given what I know of the station I fully expect Schards and co have missed the point and are overreacting.
Tim and Joel are usually pretty good.

Schards#2 This is at just past 5 o clock when, presumably, they have their maximum audience as people drive home, they have texts pouring in, interviews they can play and callers wanting to give their opinion. Anyone out there from BBC Berkshire got anything to say for themselves?

Then went on to a discussion about whether it would be entertaining if Danni Minogue turned up and they had a fight over the microphone.

Let's sign Danni Minogue for the vacant midfield spot then!zac naloenThen went on to a discussion about whether it would be entertaining if Danni Minogue turned up and they had a fight over the microphone.
That was the counter argument, and a very good one.
The point being that if a team turns up, plays scrappy direct football that is going to affect Reading ability to play entertaining passing football.

If you go to a Kylie Minogue concert and didn't enjoy it then feel free never to go to another one again as the tickets will be snapped up by someone who will enjoy it. The same applies to Reading matches.Schards#2 I was reminded yesterday about the bit where he compared the match to going to a Kylie Minogue concert and saying that if you didn't enjoy it you'd expect your money back.Well whatever you expect, you wouldn't bloddy get it.

Ollie [ If you look at From Despair To Where's post on the back from the game thread, I think Joel was feeling much the same about the Prem after that one.
We'll cheer him up on Monday. Get Murty to give him a good slapping.

Just a suggestion then - if he felt like that then why didn;t he say he did and talk some sense rather than resorting to spouting garbage ?
I think Joel is a good sports journo, he knows thegame and is articulate.

no Sir, you are the cock.Basingstoke Royal End of the day, Mick Gooding knows what he is talking about and Joel Hufford knows nothing.
I will be listening to 107 from now on. I just hope the players werent listening to that cock.
something was wrong today. Didnt see him talking such rubbish in previous seasons when were losing and had loads of boring matches.
JOEL HUFFORD OUT! Any fan in the stadium today could do a better job.
